LINEUP ANNOUNCEMENT
So playin the MY NORTHERN BEACHES RIOT will be the following bands; GOONS OF DOOM, FAIT ACCOMPLI, BEAU MONDE, TALONS, MAN RAY, WARHORSE, THE RIPPING DYLANS, "O", THE WEATHER UNDERGROUND, THE PORCHLIGHT FIASCO and special guests LOVE LAND BAND.
Doin the DJ duties will be BANSHEE, LOVERTITS, COCO & SHAMBLES, FIRE IN THE DISCO, HAMMER CLUB, JOHNNY DARKO, BEN LADEN (NYC), JACK SHIT, PENNY LANE, MY FAIR LADY and KILL DIE.

25.06.07 - SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Yes after the massive success of The first MY SYDNEY RIOT Festival we decided to give the kids on the Northern Beaches a Party to warm them up while the winter weather is gettin all cranky. So before all your cars get blown away (poor Ozlem from "O" had her car squashed by a tree, R.I.P Audi) we want you to keep SATURDAY 28th JULY free in your diaries. So stay tuned, we have a Massive Awesome Party Lineup to be announced. We'll be bringing all the big guns to The Monavale Hotel. So be there and bring all your friends. It's gonna be bad, good and no doubt a Massive Riot!!

We are are very grateful for your support and we will only look forward to putting on more quality events into the future. 25.05.07 - FRIDAY RIOT! UPDATE
THE SCREAM to be replaced by WEATHER UNDERGROUND
Due to a death in the family, unfortunately THE SCREAM won't be able to perform at the festival on Sunday. A real shame considering that we were all pretty excited to see these guys blow the festival open with their wonderous music. We send our thoughts to their families. They will be replaced by the enagmatic WEATHER UNDERGROUND who have been busy in the studio writing and recording. They will come out of hibernation after almost 6 months away from playing live to play on Sunday. Kurt Cobain Stage from 12.30pm.

A good friend of MY SYDNEY RIOT T BONE is an artist that you must not miss. She will be opening up the event with some of her amazing solo tunes. From 12 noon till 12.30pm on the Kurt Cobain Stage.

FESTIVAL FOOD
There is food at the festival. East village are reknown for their chefs ability to cook up storms. So if you're hungry on the day make sure you head downstairs to the ground floor of the pub to get yourself a meal to keep you nice and healthy during the day.
23.05.07 - RIOT! UPDATE
OK, as you know there are only a few more sleeps left till the big day. All bands are in good health and the DJs are actualy sleepin this week, which is cool. Hope everyone is gettin some rest out there. We are busy finalising all the last bits and pieces, just to make sure that you all feel cosy and happy.
THE RIOT ON FBI TONIGHT
Due to FBI starting their Supporter Drive early, we won't be on the radio on Friday, but we will be on air tonight. Raymond from MAKEyourself RECORDS will be a special guest on FBI Radio chattin with Dom Alessio on The Bridge tonight from 8.15pm.

16. 05.07 - DJ COMPETITION WINNER(s) ANNOUNCED
Due to an overwhelming response to our competition we've decided to give the prize to a boy and a girl. Umm... by now you would've heard of YVES KLEIN BLUE right? Yeah well these guys are talented, so make sure you head down to see them. They're only coming all the way from Brisbane to grace us with their music. Whatelse? if you watched the Mtv Video Music Awards (they got payed a $20,000 appearance fee ha!), you would've noticed these lads straggling a bag of goon whilst being interviewed. 14.05.07 - REGULAR JOHN JOIN THE RIOT!!
Due to issues out of the bands hands, AMY MEREDITH had to pull out of the Festival. We are sorry to see thier exit from our day. But I think we've come up with a more than worthy replacement, the one and only REGULAR JOHN. These guys have been touring all over the place lately and playing some major supports too. Be sure to get rocked out of your socks.

Thanks to all who attended the Fundraiser on Saturday. Everyone had a blast. The Bands were amazing and the exit jam was probably one of the craziest moments ever. Thanks to THE GINGERS from Melbourne for playin a couple of songs too.

SOFT TIGERS, BEAU MONDE, CUTHBERT AND THE NIGHTWALKERS, BIRD AUTOMATIC, AMY MEREDITH, GHOSTS OF TELEVISION, THE RIPPING DYLANS, ARMY ANT, THE SCREAM & THE PORCHLIGHT FIASCO (Central Coast) ...will be joining this already stellar lineup which is;
GOONS OF DOOM, FAIT ACCOMPLI, YVES KLEIN BLUE (Mtv Kickstart winners - Brisbane), STATURE::STATUE (Brisbaneaideaide), TALONS, MORALS OF A MINOR (Adelaide), VIOLENT SOHO (Brisbane), WARHORSE, "O" and TOKYO BLONDE.

02. 05.2007 - FESTIVAL UPDATE
Hello there good soul. I'm thinkin that we've probably snagged one of the most rockin lineups in history. This is as good as it gets with the underground sounds, so you better start buyin your tickets kids, it's gonna be a fun filled day. We've pretty much rounded off the second half of this already dope lineup, so keep an eye out in the local street press OK. Our posters and flyers should be floodin the streets soon.

Drum Roll Please. And the first Artists to be announced for the MY SYDNEY RIOT FESTIVAL are Sydneys No.1 good times party band, GOONS OF DOOM. From Brisbane we have the Mtv Kickstart winners, YVES KLEIN BLUE, plus STATURE::STATUE & VIOLENT SOHO. We also have Adelaides band of the moment, MORALS OF A MINOR. And joining the lineup are new local heroes, FAIT ACCOMPLI, TALONS, WARHORSE, "O" & TOKYO BLONDE. More artists will be announced shortly. Doing the DJ duties on the day are Riot Djs, BANSHEE, COCO & SHAMBLES, LOVERTITS, FIRE IN THE DISCO & one half of live elctro band, Teenager - LADYHAWK.

Well it's all on for the good and the bad. We here at MSR HQ have decided to put on the shindig to end them all and we are so stoked that you can be in on the fun. As you know Sunday 27th May 2007 will be our first ever all day event to be held in our wonderful city of Sydney. So to celebrate all the amazing talent that's out there we decided to put on our own festival.
MY SYDNEY RIOT ALL DAY FESTIVAL EXTRAVAGANZA is everything that you'd ever want from a festival in an intimate environment and we are going to show you what's really happenin deep down within the always growing music scene.
Some of the bands involved are probably familiar to you, but most of these artists, known or unknown are doin some original shit and our day will prove that Australia is spewing to the ceiling with mad rockin talent.
So sit back, mark this date in your diary and hang out for Sunday 27th May. It's gonna be a killer day that you will never ever forget. This is only the beginning. We promise.
